Microsoft Word 2007 English Spell Check

I’m running into a bit of a nightmare here. I have Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise installed, currently set to English, and I’ve been trying to download the American language pack (sp1) to switch things over. But every single time I attempt the installation, it hits me with this infuriating error message: "The expected product version could not be found." It just stalls right there. Please, I am desperate—does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Help me please!
