Let's talk about studio albums that were essentially collections of singles. I'm looking for LPs where at least half the tracklist had already been released as standalone singles—think 7" or 12" formats—on any market. So, if we're looking at an 8-track Vinyl Record, I want to see four or more tracks that hit the shelves as singles first. What have you guys got? Pick any track from the album for the illustration—as long as you mention which studio album it belongs to and list the singles. Compilations are off the table, obviously. Live albums are another category entirely, though finding an example where half the tracklist consists of live versions of previously released singles is probably a needle in a haystack around here. We're only counting albums released before 1999.
