I’m not exactly a regular fixture around here, but I’ve started noticing a pattern where comments seem to vanish—specifically whenever someone drops a critique regarding how the police operate, especially in threads dedicated to their conduct. Look, I don't get this obsession with sweeping generalizations. If I happen to get pulled over by an officer twice and they’re both incredibly rude, then in my book, that's just how they are. It doesn't matter if every other cop in the country is perfectly polite; I haven't met them, so their behavior doesn't change my reality. To me, that isn't "generalizing"—it's just reporting my own experience. And honestly, it feels like nobody else on this forum sees it that way either.
