I feel like every time I open my favorite streaming app lately, I'm bombarded by tracks that sound technically perfect but feel completely hollow. It’s getting harder to tell if there’s an actual human behind the melody or just a prompt. Do you guys think we'll eventually reach a point where we only care about the person behind the art, regardless of how it's made?

This is one of those rare movies you can actually watch over and over again.
The cast absolutely crushed it—and looking at the names on that list, you know they would.
The script hits the sweet spot, balancing just enough humor with actual tension, even if most of us already know how the story ends.
My only gripe is that they cut the sales precedent too short. I wanted more of the grit—more of seeing how Affleck had to go toe-to-toe with management just to get them to bite on the offer.

I managed to pull it off. Thanks for the help when I was second-guessing my RAM; I tried testing it a few days before grabbing the GPU and it turns out the RAM wasn't the issue after all. Now one stick just popped up and likely fried, or maybe the slot itself went, though I’m leaning toward the RAM since it sits so close to the CPU—high chance it just gave up the ghost.
So here’s the next thing: can a PC seriously slow down this much just because it’s running on 6GB of RAM instead of 8GB? Before I go rushing out to buy more memory, I need to know if there's any way to fix this via software. Honestly, without even joking, my phone is faster at browsing the web than this machine is.

Let me lay this out for you. I was dealing with texture glitches and other weirdness on my old Zotac GTX 560 Ti AMP, and then eventually, the whole thing just hit me with a black screen. I kept the case and components clean, but I couldn't actually get inside the card to fix it because one of the heatsink screws stripped out. Since I couldn't repaste it, I just stuck to blowing out the dust, but I guess that wasn't enough because it finally gave up on me. So, I swapped it out for a Gigabyte GTX 750, but guess what? I'm still getting the exact same black screen issue. Any suggestions on what to try next? And please, don't start lecturing me about the power supply—the GTX 560 pulls way more juice than this new GTX 750 ever will.

Look, if you can scrape some cash together, go hunt down an M-Audio sound card on eBay first. Only then should you even think about looking at Creative Technology gear. The real kicker is the drivers—you need software that actually lets you tweak the audio to your liking, because you’re definitely going to regret settling for less. These cheap, bottom-of-the-barrel options are basically the same as just plugging directly into your motherboard.
Honestly, you'd be better off building a workaround. Just download some dedicated software that handles the processing for you; it'll put a tiny bit more load on your CPU, but it's worth it.

I’ve gone head-to-head with him before, but I realized pretty much instantly that it was just banging my head against a brick wall. Trying to offer some actual advice based on real experience or hoping to pick up anything useful from his forums? Forget about it. You won't get the truth there.
