So here’s the deal: I’ve got 4 injections of Neulasta from Amgen. They're used within 24 hours after chemo to help boost up white blood cell counts.
The catch is they aren't covered by Medicare, and man, they are brutally expensive—we're talking like $1,700 to $1,800 a pop.
I don't actually need them myself since my blood counts are looking solid right now (knock on wood), so if anyone out there could use them, or if you know someone struggling with bad blood work, please reach out. 🙂
