Thanks for the reply, but I don't get it. If they took two biopsies for that Pronto Dry test, why didn't they tell us anything? They just sent us home without any explanation, and I only realized what happened when we got back and saw the results... And if they already took a sample for a biopsy, how are we even supposed to get the results?

Hey everyone, can someone help me make sense of my aunt's ultrasound results? She's dealing with metastatic melanoma:
"Liver is normal size with regular contours and echo structure. The entire V segment and part of the VI segment are filled by a large soft tissue mass measuring up to 100*85 mm, which includes an area of necrotic breakdown about 10 mm in size."
Gastroscopy findings: "Stomach shows strip-like hyperemia and slightly more prominent folds in the antrum and prepylorus; two biopsies were taken from there for the Pronto Dry HP test."

I don't get why the administration in Castro would even issue a warning about the dangers of Escozul when every single hospital and research institute in Cuba is state-run. If they're conducting studies, it implies Castro gave the green light for them to happen in the first place.

I'm still weighing the pros and cons of this medication, but I can't wrap my head around how people are traveling from Italy to Cuba en masse just to smuggle the stuff back home... I also read that the embassy helps Americans get their hands on it through official channels.

It’s a cold hard fact that conventional medicine doesn't have a cure for Stage IV metastatic melanoma.
Over in the States, people started talking about Escozul back in mid-September, and since then, plenty of Americans have been heading down to Cuba to use it; I've been following their stories and gathering data. We actually asked a prominent American oncologist for his take, and while he wouldn't officially recommend it, he admitted it's shown promise in certain cases without side effects. He even mentioned that if it were someone close to him in this position, he'd be looking at options in Cuba too.

Maybe now you see why I decided to head to Cuba...

Has anyone ever heard of Escozul from Cuba?

I've been reading up on it quite a bit and it sounds promising.
Escozul is still in experimental stages and they market it as a cancer treatment—obviously, there’s no such thing as a miracle cure—but it's proven to help with pain and improve quality of life without side effects, which is enough for me.
I've decided I'm going to Cuba to get some.

If anyone here has tried it or knows anything at all, please reach out...

We just finished the second round of treatment. My aunt is handling it well, but then the PET scan results came back... the melanoma has spread.
It’s just awful, waiting on that single sheet of paper that holds your entire life in its hands. When it finally arrives, you cross yourself and start reading with shaking hands.

I'm new to all this too, so I don't know much, but check the first few posts. There's a lot of talk there about supplements.
From what I remember, most people use Native propolis and aloe. My aunt uses Aloe Aboreces (but not alongside chemo), Biott juices, and various teas. You should also try to get as much fresh beet as possible. I've read plenty about diets and nutrition—you might want to look at the Johanna Budwig oil-protein cookbook; I personally liked it. A lot of people swear by macrobiotics, too. Not sure about the mushrooms.

I've already scoured those sites, but honestly, I didn't find much. They're written so technically that I’d need a whole library just to make sense of it all. I did track down a research institute in Germany; they were actually quite nice, so fingers crossed they might have some actual leads...
Over here in the States, we got turned away from the Oncovex vaccine research clinic because the disease has progressed too far. But we aren't giving up yet.

I'm new here and could really use some guidance.
My dear aunt was diagnosed with Malignant melanoma four months ago. She's already gone through three surgeries, but they didn't stop it—if anything, it’s spreading faster now.
Surgery isn't an option anymore. All we have left is chemo, which I hear isn't even effective for melanoma.
What are our options?

We've started on a targeted diet, and next week we begin chemotherapy.
Is there anything else we can do?

Has anyone here dealt with clinical trials?
I've reached out to every research institute I could find, but nothing has come back yet.

And has anyone tried that vaccine from Cuba?
