Just a heads up—those tables help a ton, but you actually have to get in the water to make them work. You can pull off a 5-minute apnea in a pool, but once you're out in the Atlantic, you might struggle to hit sixty seconds.
Hey there. I’m planning on heading out with some buddies to dig for marine worms this year, so I figured I should probably work on my conditioning first. Back in the day, I could stay under for ages, but nowadays? I’ll take the win if I can manage 30 seconds before needing air. I’ve been digging through all those O2 and CO2 charts—read basically everything out there—and now I’ve got a few questions. My plan is to hit the CO2 tables on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, then switch to the O2 tables on Sundays. Just let me know one thing: how should I be breathing during the drills? Shallow breaths or deep ones?
Can someone please tell me what's supposed to be fake about it? Or where the bait is?
I brought up Prometheus because that trailer totally hooked me. I was counting down the days until the movie dropped, but then I actually watched it... and nothing. Zilch. And please, don't start with the Prometheus stuff again.
Prometheus is definitely my number one. Honestly, I was all about that After Earth vibe when the first trailer dropped, but then the actual movie? Ugh, barely made it through. It was such a struggle to sit through.
The movie is a total mess. The ship looks like some cheap roadside diner instead of advanced tech for a civilization this far along... it’s honestly embarrassing. And don't even get me started on that foil covering the hull; it looks exactly like the plastic wrap you'd find in a grocery store aisle at a Walmart. Smith is playing "polished" so hard it’s painful, and frankly, he's terrible here. I get that it's just the role he was cast in, but when I think about his better work, this is just a disaster. As for the son? An absolute hack. That’s being generous. This could have been so much more than this. It basically boils down to some tiny birds and a bird dying just to save Kitai (that's it). 3/10

I mean, yeah. When basically everyone (and I mean *everyone* on this thread) is calling it trash, you kind of have to sit down and witness the disaster firsthand just to see what the fuss is about. Curiosity is a dangerous thing.
I had every intention of sitting down to watch it yesterday, but honestly, I just can't stand Smith's kid. It’s painful. Every time he's on screen, I just lose interest. I can't even get through it.
A showdown between him and Aquaman would be a total visual feast😲
🤣 It just hits wrong for everyone. Sure, they’ve tried to explain it in the comics a few times, but still... 🤷
Batman is more of a concept. He's just... untouchable. 😁
Seeing that fight would be wild.
It bugs me so much. Honestly, in my book, it'd be way better if he didn't have Plastic Man around and actually wore a mask. I could take off my glasses and nobody would recognize me. This whole thing just doesn't fly. 😁 You can try to explain it all you want, but if there's no logic behind it, it's useless. 🙂
Batman, obviously 😁 but also Green Arrow. As far as villains go, King Shark is pretty cool just because of how he looks. I’d be down for Superman, but I’ve never been able to get past that suit—and the whole way he "disguises" himself? Nobody ever realizes it's him. That part is just total trash.
I’m actually dying to know where I can get my hands on The Bat—you know, that flying vehicle from *The Dark Knight Rises*? Please, if anyone in the States knows where one is hiding, let me know 😁
