Dissolvable stitches: any experiences?

Got this trimmed the Monday before last, and I’m at the checkup today. Doctor says everything looks fine and I can start monitoring it myself 😁
so the stitches should just fall out on their own. Does that mean I just shower normally and they slowly dissolve and vanish? =)
