Does anyone know of a newer program for ripping encrypted DVDs? (I'm talking about the ones with copy protection). For instance, is it actually possible to burn a movie straight from a rental shop using Nero?
I tried using Symantec Pro with the full firewall suite and everything... it didn't even last a month before it completely ate my PC alive. It wiped everything out! Interestingly enough, I've had Norton on my computer for over a year now and haven't had a single issue. I'll let you guys be the judge of that. Sure, it might slow down your system a bit, but it digs deep into every single file to make sure there isn't a virus in sight. Most of the viruses I've actually caught came from using AVG, Symantec, or some sketchy, off-brand antivirus software. Nothing beats Norton.
