Go ahead and wipe the drive completely, then get those fresh drivers installed. And for heaven's sake, don't clutter the system with any of that junk anti-spyware or antivirus software. Just stay away from those sketchy, unknown websites!

I’ve managed to bump the processor up to a 3200+ (2200 MHz), currently running at 1.7 V. To be perfectly honest, the cooler I'm using is an absolute piece of junk, but despite that, temperatures under full load are hovering around 50°C. It seems the multiplier on the CPU itself is locked, so there isn't much room left to play with; meanwhile, both the motherboard and the memory have hit their ceiling at 400 MHz.
Perhaps I ought to invest in a superior cooling solution. Regardless, just to put things to the test, I ran Prime95 and let it churn away for an entire day—it was Sunday, since this machine stays at my office—and when I finally checked back in, everything was functioning perfectly!

an epox 8rda3i board with an nForce 2 chipset
512 MB of DDR SuperRAM from Kingmax (400 MHz)
What is the best way to tweak my BIOS settings to squeeze out every last drop of performance? I want maximum output, but please—no soldering involved. I have absolutely no clue what I'm doing with a soldering iron, nor do I own the tools for such madness. I'm strictly talking about software adjustments within the BIOS... oh, and by the way, the heatsink came with the processor; I just bought the retail box version.
