Anyway, what I actually want to know is—where are you guys picking up those breezy little summer shorts right now?? You know, the ones perfect for hitting the beach or just lounging around the house when it's boiling out? Are we talking 100% cotton or some other comfy vibe??

on those Chinese sites!!

I found some truly lovely pairs... perfect for the beach or just hanging out at home... and they only cost $12 per piece... plus they carry sizes from Small all the way up to XXXL. 😍

I took photos of two different pairs. These grey ones have a sweatshirt-like material... very soft. When you put them on, they fit quite snugly through the top, while the legs are wide and straight-cut.

As for these olive ones, they are an 80% cotton and 20% polyester blend. 😉

coppergardener... that cat in your avatar is a perfect metaphor for you. It’s an exact reflection of your posts. 🤣🤣😍

I was planning on wearing some brown formal 3/4 trousers—they have that silky sort of texture—paired with black heeled sandals I already have at home. 😁

But now... what should I wear on top? That is my current dilemma.

Does anyone know where I can find something slightly more formal in larger sizes here in Omaha?

I have weddings to attend and absolutely nothing to wear. Any ideas? Just please don't suggest dresses or skirts... those are completely off the table.😁

I have an extreme sensitivity to drafts... and I mean serious...

- my sinuses act up
- my eyes get red and watery
- I deal with earaches

HP printer issues in Computer Peripherals ·
The printer finally came back from the repair shop... It turns out the hardware itself is perfectly fine, but the issue was actually just a faulty USB cable.

The unit is barely two or three months old, yet this is already the third USB cable we've had to buy. 😠 🙄

I honestly don't understand how these things can "break" every single month...

It's enough to make you lose your mind. 😠

silentwolf53 said:Are you certain the issue isn't the USB port itself? Not just the cable, but the actual port.
Try plugging it into a different slot, and swap out the cable just to be safe. You need to troubleshoot systematically to isolate the failure point before deciding which part actually needs replacing.

It could also be an internal hardware failure within the printer. 🤷

I have already tested all four ports on my laptop...

The internet works perfectly fine through my USB dongle using those same ports, so the connection there is stable.🤷

My father is taking it to a service center today since it is still under warranty, 😉 so I will
see what the technicians have to say about it.

😠 😠 😠

I have an HP Envy printer... and I am losing my mind here. The thing is practically brand new; it hasn't even printed 100 pages yet.
It works for a little while... then my laptop just stops recognizing it entirely. I keep getting this error and this one as well. 😲 😠

Take today, for example... I connect it to the laptop, and it actually WORKS 😍 at first. It starts printing, gets halfway through a page, and then suddenly this USB Device Not Recognized notification pops up. 😲 😠
When I click on that alert... this shows up.

I know for a fact it isn't a problem with the USB port because my internet via USB stick works perfectly fine. I've already tried all four ports and they work. I even went out and bought a brand new USB cable for the printer, thinking that was the culprit... but the exact same thing keeps happening. 🙄

Betty Wright64 said:I suspect the principal turned a blind eye to the abuse. I'm reading in the news now that he’s being ousted because he was part of the issue.

When reporters actually reached out to the principal for an interview... they were told to leave him alone, since he was busy celebrating his final day at the school before retirement.😲😠

Carl Smith92 said:Which elementary school are we talking about? This is genuinely repulsive. It would be prudent to find the principal's email address and apply some direct pressure; otherwise, incidents like this are typically swept under the rug and suppressed. Why is the school's identity being kept a secret?

It isn't a secret... everyone knows which school it is (the second elementary in Des Moines). The principal, the teachers, the counselors—EVERYONE knew what was happening... yet they all chose to look the other way. John's mother came to the school constantly regarding this issue, but she was completely ignored...

We even know the identities of the perpetrators... first and last names. We are talking about children from prominent Des Moines families... I believe that makes my point sufficiently clear, not to mention that one of them is the daughter of the director of the county family services center.🙄 😠

Carl Smith92 said:So what actually went down? I took a look at that group of haters on Facebook, but it seems like everyone just cleared out, leaving nothing but bitter people behind.

A brief update: I checked out the YouTube video—is this about that kid who’s crying like a coward while the group beats him up? The footage is blurry. It’s unsettling....

Elizabeth Gomez3 said:– I was scared, but also sad because I had to leave my school in Warsaw due to moving, where I had many good friends. It felt strange having to sit alone at my desk. For the first few days, everything was fine. But soon, the teasing started because I was an outsider in their class—that I wasn't one of them, or why I specifically had to join them. They wouldn't socialize with me unless they absolutely had to, like during group work, and even then, they wouldn't help me with anything. I was always alone, even on field trips. No one would sit with me on the bus. After two or three months of school, things escalated. They would spit on my hat and draw on my clothes with markers. They drew a mustache on me with black permanent ink and mocked me, calling me the class Hitler. As if that wasn't enough, they started tripping me, hanging me by my locker, pulling my ears, all while using insults—calling me a moron, saying I sleep in a ditch... What hurt most was when they would throw me high into the air and then drop me onto the floor, or catch me however they pleased. And it also hurt when they kicked me in the hip, which was already injured from a car accident—he recalls.

Even construction companies providing raw materials have stepped up, hoping to secure a roof over their own heads... given that their houses are practically falling apart. Even presidential candidate Miroslav Tuđman has joined the movement...

Many thanks to 🙏🙏

SCHOOL HORROR:

Bullying victims filmed and uploaded online
In an display of pure malice, it wasn't enough for them to start a group on Facebook titled "Everyone who HATES (boy's identity revealed) and wants him out of Elementary School!!!!"; they apparently felt their revolting actions deserved applause.

The shocking abuse of a 13-year-old boy at an elementary school in Des Moines has migrated from the hallways to Facebook, where a group calls for hate against the child and demands his expulsion under the banner: “Everyone who HATES (child's identity revealed) and wants him out of Elementary School!!!!.” What is truly horrifying is that this bullying has been ongoing for a year and a half, ever since he moved from a family in Warsaw to Des Moines to enroll in the sixth grade. To make matters worse, he was also involved in a severe traffic accident where he was struck by a car at a crosswalk in the middle of town.

He is still dealing with the aftermath, suffering from leg pain that forces him to limp just to find relief. Every detail about the boy and the daily torment he endures in his classroom has long been common knowledge among the other students. This was confirmed yesterday by a group of eighth graders on the school playground.

"Everyone in our school knows about it. They constantly beat him, pull his hair, and mock him. Recently, they hit him so hard on the street that he fell and struck his head on the pavement. It isn't just the boys doing it—the girls are involved too, and everyone knows their names because they brag about it," the boys reported.

We found the boy's mother after the school counselor, Jadranka Tuma, called her in for a meeting upon seeing the videos online. Her son stood beside her, eyes filled with fear, wearing an expression far too solemn for a child his age. He answered questions quietly and curtly.

"They tell me I'm retarded, but it isn't true!" he says.

I recently had an appointment with my gynecologist in Indianapolis... and I have to say, I am genuinely impressed. 😁 The doctor is exceptional, and the nurse was equally wonderful.
