Overclocking (Main Thread) in Desktops ·
For two days now, I have been trying to increase speeds by adjusting the bus speed (NS-SB reference clock 100-500), but I am failing completely. I am a total beginner, so I am likely making mistakes. My multiplier is at 11, which is my maximum. My memory consists of 512 MB x 2 DDR2 Kingmax semiconductor KLCC28F-A8KB5—please tell me immediately if this is any good. My motherboard is a Gigabyte C51/MCP55, running the latest BIOS, and cooling is provided by a Zalmani 7000.
I can only raise the FSB directly up to 2750 MHz; beyond that, the system won't boot even after maxing out the CPU voltage and other voltages.

CPU frequency - auto
PCIE clock (NB) - 100-200 - currently set to auto, which is 100
NS-SB reference clock 100-500 - I am attempting to raise this, but nothing happens.
PCIE clock (NB) - set to auto, which is 100 CPU
CPU clock ratio - 5-11, currently set to auto, which is 11

DDR2 overvolting ranges from 0.1 to 0.7. How high am I allowed to push the memory voltage? Since mine are showing 0.3-0.7 in the red, it seems dangerous.
My maximum CPU voltage is 1.550V; is that perhaps too weak?
The power supply is a raptoxx 550 w 1,3

In these settings, is my FSB equal to my DRAM? It shows a CPU/7 ratio. My BIOS doesn't offer an option to show ratios like 4/3 or 2/3 so I can set them manually, or does it work differently?

Memory is listed as DDR2 dual 1024 MB when read via CPU-Z.

Frequency is 315 or somewhere near there; I might have to restart the computer.

FSB/DRAM 7
CAS LATENCY 5.0 CLOCKS
RAS TO CAS DELAY 5 CLOCKS
RAS PRECHARGE 5 CLOCKS
CYCLE TIME (TRAS) 15 CLOCKS
BANK CYCLE TIME (TRC) 21 CLOCKS
COMMAND RATE 1T

The processor is an AMD Athlon 64 3200 athlon64 x2 dual Core 4200+ WINDSOR socket AM2.

Please help me. I cannot figure this out. I have searched everywhere, but nothing works. I will be right here if I need to explain anything further.

Thank you.
