Overclocking (Main Thread)

I’m looking to overclock an AMD X2 4000 +. I want to push it to a maximum of 2.4 or 2.5 GHz, nothing higher. It’s a retail box version. Running Kingmax 800 MHz 2X 1GB RAM.
How do I get my memory to actually run at 800 MHz? Right now, it’s stuck at 702 MHz on the default settings.
