I’m not entirely sure if this belongs in this specific sub-forum, but I figured I’d ask anyway and hope someone can provide some clarity. I am currently running two 512MB sticks of Kingmax RAM; however, one is rated at 677MHz while the other sits at 533MHz. Since they weren't purchased as a matched set, I am wondering: if I go into the BIOS and manually force the speed to 677MHz instead of letting it default to 533MHz, will the slower stick actually handle that increase without causing major stability issues or system strain?
