I bumped the memory voltage up by about .1V
running the Central Processing Unit at 1.375V
I’m keeping the RAM steady around 800, but I just can't seem to push it to 3 without everything falling apart...

I'm running an E4500 on a P35-DS3R board.
The RAM is Kingmax 2GB @ 800MHz.
I managed to push the CPU up to 2.9GHz using these settings:
FSB at 363 with an 8x multiplier.
Memory is clocked at 871MHz, and the multiplier is sitting at 2.40.
I set the latencies to 5-5-5-15... though I don't really grasp how latency works.
I’m trying to bump it up to 3 or 3.2GHz, but I'm hitting a wall... I've got an Arctic Freezer 7 and I even resurfaced the base, so thermals shouldn't be the issue.
I also can't figure out why it crashes in Orthus when I try 264 x 11... memory hits 845MHz then.
I tried the same configuration with 333 x 9 to hit 3GHz... but Windows won't even boot.
Then I tried a lower multiplier, 375 x 8 for 3GHz... memory is at 750MHz. Windows boots, but it fails in Orthus... and MemTest too.
Can anyone help me dial this in? I just want to squeeze a bit more out of it... the goal is a stable 3.2GHz.

In the advanced BIOS settings, I go ahead and disable all that useless junk—C1E, EIST, all of it...
I also tweak the PC health settings following some tutorial I found online.
I set the frequency to 255 and leave the multiplier at 11... which puts me right at 2.8 GHz total.
Managed to get the memory running at about 820...
I haven't touched the latencies because, honestly, I don't have a clue what I'm doing there...
I just bumped the CPU voltage up to 1.35...
Windows boots up fine, but as soon as I fire up Orthofix, the whole system just restarts after a few seconds...
What else is left to tweak? I'm starting to lose my patience here...🙄

I run mine at 11 x 273 /3GHz/ with 1.35V... what kind of RAM are you using and what speeds are you pushing?

Maybe I'll drop the voltage a bit and set it up the way you suggested...
The memory is some old Kingmax 2GB 800MHz stick...
Right now it's sitting at 807, CPU-Z shows 403.4—I guess that's it then—and the latencies seem low too, which I don't really get... Do I actually need to tweak those settings...
Gonna mess around with it for a while longer...

using an Intel Core 2 Duo E5400
I’ve got the FSB at 242MHz and the multiplier set to 11, which puts me right at 2.66GHz
Voltage is sitting at 1.4V on the CPU, and I bumped the memory voltage by about 0.2V
Everything seems stable enough...
But the second I try to push it even a little bit further, the whole system fails to boot
The board I'm using is an ASUS P35 series
Does anyone know the ideal settings to actually hit 3.2GHz without it crashing?........
