Honestly, I have zero clue—I just filled out some random little slip at $70
. I told them I didn't have my ID on me, so they were just like, "okay, fine" and that was that
. They handed me this tiny piece of paper, I scribbled down my name, the date, and what time it was
. Then there was some space for an account number or something... and I typed a few more things into that little handheld scanner thing they use to read all the data, and yeah, that was the whole deal
. Now I’m just sitting here wondering what happens next? Like, can they actually issue a ticket based on that, or am I good?

Hey, so I didn't actually hand over my driver's license—I just showed them my ID card instead—but they still slapped me with a citation 😢
I’m honestly wondering how long the wait is before you actually get summoned to court... like, will they even bother calling me in at all? And, uh...
