The Beatles: Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band

I don't know.

what if the person your heart is set on listens to music that you absolutely can't stand? Is that even a dealbreaker? Or do you just not see someone as a potential partner if you don't hang out at the same spots and listen to the same tunes?

Like, maybe he loves those high-end, trendy cocktail lounges while she’s all about the underground indie scene? Or vice versa?

Maybe you live and breathe music, but they won't go to a single concert with you because their taste is totally different. You can't talk shop about music when you want to, and you rarely go out together because they're dancing to R&B hits while you're sitting there rolling your eyes?

Or is there just zero chance you'd ever consider someone a partner if they don't value the same music you do?

The person my heart wants wouldn't be a match if 🙂 they didn't fit my vibe and the music I listen to.
Look, someone doesn't have to listen to the exact same tracks as me, but they damn well better respect my choices.
If we're on the same page musically, that's a massive win. Those people pass my test automatically.
Plus, people with similar tastes just click better—assuming music actually matters to them in life.
