if my OB-GYN heard that, he’d probably ask if I’d finally lost my mind—but then again, clearly this doctor isn't playing by the usual rules.
Having PCOS doesn't always mean you're dealing with irregular periods or missing them entirely. I've been dealing with some kind of ovarian cysts for years now (thankfully they're "benign") yet my cycle is totally regular. Honestly, I can practically set my watch by when it's coming. It's ridiculous. 😛
Regarding those cysts, I'm assuming—and really hoping—that your doctor at least suggested getting a color Doppler ultrasound to check things out.
I don't know how old you are, but once you start messing with hormones, you really shouldn't just wing it. Maybe these pills aren't actually a good fit for your body, which brings us right back to the whole idea of getting blood tests first. 😁
