Our little Mo (13 years old) has been at Children's Hospital in New York City for seven days now, staying in oncology. It’s a soft tissue sarcoma near her left hip. We’re just sitting here waiting for the biopsy results to come back in the next few days...
Please... we need help. Once those results hit our hands, what's the move? Should we just trust the doctors and leave it in God's hands, or...? I guess we probably need a second opinion—but who do we even talk to? If anyone has any info, please...
Right now, some wonderful people from the Krijesnica Association are helping us out. I actually came across slyseal28 and her story, which was really eye-opening. The website zanovidan.hr has also been a huge help for info, though I can't get onto their forum at the moment...
This is all so new. It's still so raw, and honestly, it's just too much. As parents, we're in total shock. But I guess we have to keep our heads up and realize we have to start fighting this. We just can't do it alone.
