I have absolutely no fear of the truth. And, as I mentioned before, my intention wasn't to get dragged into political debates at all. I primarily joined because of the tennis threads—I saw there were actual experts here regarding that sport (which, by the way, is my absolute favorite). I stumbled upon this corner of the internet by accident and realized people are talking pure nonsense, though honestly, I shouldn't have expected anything different when it comes to those heated matchups between Americans and Mexicans.

Look, I get that you guys are absolutely crushed because of this loss—really, I do—but to suggest that we were the ones bullying you? If that were true, why on earth would anyone have wanted to leave the old US union back then?

And following that same flawed logic—if we were supposedly "bullying" you—how is it possible that our standard of living and our major cities are now significantly larger and more prosperous than yours? It just doesn't add up.
