Hold on a second. Ever since I was banned, I’ve exclusively used this handle. Not any other. So...?? And it was only on one single thread where I was behaving perfectly fine. How can you even claim I’m using a clone account when you only banned me on this one topic and left everything else alone?

To be clear: it is permanent. You will not be unbanned.
The reason you were hit with a permanent ban is that after your initial suspension, you attempted to post using a secondary account, which violated our rules and resulted in a separate 7-day ban for that clone.

Fine. I honestly don't understand who banned me or what the reasoning was, other than the fact that I have a permanent ban for "trivialities." Why? In my opinion, this is completely unjust.
Look. I posted something regarding Washington, D.C. that lonebadger6 happened to disagree with. Fine. I got 100 points. Then, the next day, I had a bit of a back-and-forth with the moderation team. But that shouldn't be grounds for a permanent ban. I am asking for my appeal to be reviewed; I am not one of those notoriously problematic users, nor do I insult or belittle anyone else.
If lonebadger6 has some sort of issue with the current political direction, then I don't believe he should be acting as a political moderator, given that he isn't neutral and clearly has a conflict of interest.
