Help needed - Epson EB-series projector

Hey everyone, hope you're all having a good one!
Just switching things up for once—I'm actually the one asking for a hand here, mostly because I've been running pretty short on time lately.
I’ve got this annoying issue where I power it on, and after about 20 seconds, the image starts flickering more and more intensely until the whole thing just shuts itself down. I went ahead and bought a new bulb, but now the flickering starts after maybe 30 seconds, though it doesn't always die completely. From what I can gather, the flickering seems to kick in right when the bulb reaches its actual operating temperature.
