The thing that actually sent my blood pressure through the roof was that last attack in the first overtime. We’re holding possession with 30 seconds left on the clock, and not a single person is smart enough to glance at the scoreboard. Instead, they realize there are only 3 seconds left right before the ref blows the whistle.

We aren't going anywhere as a national team until our left and right wingers actually have the talent to get the ball out to the sidelines. That one flaw is dragging the whole squad down.

Is Kopljar perfect? Not really. But compared to Stepančić, he’s basically Mozart. At least he can move the ball down the wing when he needs to.

And Stepančić? He couldn't hold a lead if his life depended on it, let alone manage three penalties.😵
