Is it worth buying a new laptop abroad?
in Laptops ·
I’m looking at picking up a MacBook, but the price tag is pretty brutal. It makes me wonder if it’s worth checking prices in Canada or maybe Mexico? Could the lower sales tax there actually make a difference?
I have a layover in Doha coming up soon, and I'll have a few hours to kill at the airport. Last year, I managed to snag a Samsung S6 there for only $400... Is it possible to find better deals in those duty-free hubs? Saving a few hundred bucks isn't exactly nothing, is it?
If anyone has any intel on this, please let me know. Thanks!
