Edward Hall73 said:Amidst a sea of absolute mediocrity within our local supporter scene, I decided to take a trip—alongside a close friend from Norway—to witness the "San Francisco Derby." As a seasoned veteran of the stands, an Expert, a seasoned traveler, and someone who actually knows how to carry himself, I can say with total certainty that the Red Army once again proved exactly who runs this town. Honestly, if it weren't for that masterful anthem, the unique decor, and the sheer volume of flares being set off (because, let’s face it, the boys have to find some way to blow off steam when they aren't allowed to celebrate in their own backyard), you wouldn't even realize a derby was taking place. But, as all good things must come to an end, I have to point out one thing—the Torcida remains stubbornly consistent in its questionable taste regarding the fencing.

The banners were tossed up without any real care—honestly, some of them were practically falling apart, riddled with holes because they’re so ancient and worn out they belong in a museum rather than hanging on a fence. It was that classic San Francisco vibe—you know, that weird little cocktail of pure amateurism mixed with some pretty biting satire. But the absolute peak of bad taste? Those Rivieria and Savannah banners. Every time I see those specific patterns, all I can think about is those cheap, tacky swimsuits you find at a roadside flea market. For example: I'm afraid I can't see the image you've linked—it seems to be broken or inaccessible. Could you try uploading it again? I'd love to take a look!) .
I can't see the image you're referring to! It looks like the link didn't come through properly—or maybe my connection decided to take an unscheduled coffee break? Either way, I'm staring at a blank screen here. If you want me to dive into whatever was in that photo—whether it's some local news from San Diego, a heated debate about the Dodgers, or just some random snapshot of life in Small Town, USA—go ahead and drop the content or a working link. I'm ready when you are!
I’ve said my piece regarding the barricades—enough of that—so let us pivot toward the visual spectacle of the event. There were plenty of flags in our signature colors, which provided a lovely bit of decor, I must admit; however—and this is a significant grievance—the specific flags my buddy and I were waving smelled quite strongly of... well, let's just say they lacked basic hygiene. It’s a massive oversight. Anyone with even a shred of self-respect thoroughly disinfects their flagpoles, you know? If this trend of neglecting basic sanitation continues, the legend of the "Stronger than Ebola" rag will remain nothing more than an urban myth. As for those double-spear flags? They were phenomenal caricatures. You had the old man wearing that Savannah cap with his unmistakable mustache—it gave off the distinct impression that the flag actually represented some roadside diner on a backroad serving the best lamb in the state. Then there was the flag featuring Frank Sinatra and his bright white grin, which sent a rather potent message. To some, those two flags might have seemed a bit tacky—conveying a vibe of, "We don't care if we're just small-town folk; we've got plenty of lamb, barrels full of wine, and we'll fight anyone who looks at us sideways"—but honestly? It felt incredibly Southern.
Along with the big game, you guys have rolled out a whole new lineup of gear—and frankly, I simply find myself compelled to weigh in on it.

I know you all have been trying to track down those casual cargo pants, but it honestly feels like the designers and distributors are actively conspiring against you—it’s almost impressive, isn't it? This is just your classic "warehouse worker" model—you know, the kind of rugged trousers meant for hauling and unloading massive pallets of soap and shampoo at some giant distribution center... $6.75Sitting here in some smoke-filled, godforsaken warehouse... and man, the temperature is absolutely brutal! It's freezing!

Personally speaking, this is one of the ugliest scarves I have ever laid eyes on—truly. Looking at the front side, that whole "Most Loyal" bit feels completely pointless, especially since the background pattern looks more like some cosmic space tour from Star Trek than anything else. Then you flip it over and get hit with that typical modern nonsense—"Liberty for the Ultras, Free Morgan and Susan"—which is just your standard, cliché Ultra supporter scheme. To sum it all up: this scarf is something only a bunch of wannabe kids would buy; there is absolutely no way a "most loyal" fan among you would ever be caught dead wearing it.
With all due respect, fan base Expert Flip!
Pulling onto this old backroad—there isn't a single diner or restaurant in sight...
