Good evening, I’m reaching out because I could really use some advice.

My brother-in-law had surgery on November 27th at Dubrava Hospital. He has a liver tumor about 12 cm in size, which unfortunately wasn't something they could surgically remove. Because of that, they placed a port for intra-arterial chemotherapy. We had been coordinating with Professor Bolanča from Sisters of Charity Hospital to get this specific therapy started. However, we just got word today that intra-arterial chemo isn't considered the standard protocol, and they are recommending traditional chemotherapy instead. I’ve already sent an inquiry over to Rebro to see if they can perform this type of treatment there, but honestly, I’m feeling a bit lost on what our next move should be. From the very beginning, the options here in Miami haven't allowed for this specific procedure... Any guidance or insight you could share would mean the world to us.

Thank you all so much for your help.

Best regards,
Zeljka
