If I can be completely honest with you... if you have even the slightest bit of means at all, you should really look for a second—or even a first—opinion outside of the US.
Speaking from my own painful experience, here (specifically in places like Chicago or New York City), there just doesn't seem to be a specialist in this field who actually provides successful treatment. It honestly feels as though they have some sort of shady arrangement with funeral homes. 🙄
Or perhaps we were just unlucky enough to run into a string of "those kinds" of doctors one after another. 😢
