Groundhog Day (2013)

The movie was pretty fun. It doesn't require much brainpower while you're watching it (though I did find myself wondering later if I'd actually undergo a procedure like that if I had the choice). It felt about 20 minutes too long, though.
Tom Hollander playing Harry was genuinely funny.
I’d compare the experience to just chilling on the couch for two hours with some lo-fi music playing in the background, totally zoning out.
That said, like granitetiger69 mentioned ...the way the lead character rushes at Rachel feels more "freaky" than charming. The movie gets away with it because you know he can fix his mistakes if he messes up, but it still didn't feel entirely believable.
The core concept has been done a million times before, but I think they pulled it off well here. Using the time loop mechanic was a smart move and definitely the highlight for me.
Rating: 3/5
