If you have Windows on its own separate partition, your life gets a whole lot easier.
Look, like people already told you, clean out the dust first and see if that helps. But honestly? If Windows is booting slow and then just dying after two minutes, I’m smelling a software issue. Dust won't fix a corrupt OS.

Every time I boot this PC, Windows takes forever to load. Once it finally hits the desktop, it stays alive for maybe a minute or two before just shutting itself down. It’s a constant loop. I've read online that malware might be the culprit, but the machine dies too fast for me to even run a scan. Things have been sluggish lately, but I didn't think much of it until it reached this breaking point.
Specs:
-Intel i5 quad core 3.10 ghz
-ATI Radeon HD 6790 1 GB
-2x2GB RAM (DDR3)
-1 TB HDD
Current security setup:
-Anvi Smart Defender
-Avast
For those of you who actually game, this thing is a disaster. I'm getting 10-30 FPS during fights in League of Legends, dropping to 40 outside of them. Even on Call of Duty 2 and Call of Duty 4, I can barely hit 125 FPS and I can't even lock it. That should tell you exactly how broken this system is.
