Best software for repairing corrupted JPG files?

It works for me if, say, the header is just "unknown"... though I guess it's anyone's guess how much or even if your file is actually osteći
The thing is, the file is osteći because I ran a recovery on a wiped hard drive... so now I've got all my folders back and the pictures are numbered and everything, and I've moved them all over to an external drive. But whenever I try to open these photos in any viewer, I just get a blank screen and a message saying the file is corrupted...
I don't know if there's any way to fix this?
Is there anyone out there who can do something with some kind of pro software? I'm seriously willing to pay for it.
