I’ve been locked out of Meridian for about an hour now. I reached out to customer support, and their response was basically telling me everything is working perfectly fine:

The reason you occasionally run into login issues is that your browser accumulates and stores various bits of data over time, which eventually interferes with its standard operation. This isn't just specific to our site, but applies to general internet usage as well.

They follow up with this incredibly brilliant solution—something I certainly wouldn't have thought of on my own, nor would I have even considered trying unless they pointed it out:

To refresh your browser, simply press F5, and you should be able to log in immediately.

Except, the "fix" doesn't actually work. Even after hitting F5, I still can't log in

You hit VIP status once you've moved over 2000+ Euro in monthly transactions through Moneybookers.

For what it's worth, my account was set up in USD too. 😁

Turns out I actually had four different accounts over there. 😁

I haven't the slightest clue how, why, or even when I opened them, but that's how it was. The headache started because I used one of those accounts to make a deposit, and suddenly they went ahead and shut down all four of them at once...

The whole mess got sorted out pretty quickly, though. I just opened a fresh account in Euro, they closed off the remaining ones, and the cash landed safely in my pocket.

I just topped up my account at this Meridian site, and honestly, it wasn’t quite what I was expecting.

My plan was to roll over the bonus money eight times at 1.5 odds, but the catch is that I actually have to wager my own deposited cash eight times at 1.5 before they even release the 50 Euro bonus to me.

Just a heads-up for anyone thinking about depositing with them. In principle, it doesn't matter much to me because I gamble regardless, but I thought that bonus would make things a bit smoother. 😁

EDIT: On top of the fact that they don't give you a straight bonus, it's actually a free bet. So, if you somehow manage to meet all those ridiculous requirements, you get 50 Euros to bet with, but if you win, they wipe out your stake and only let you keep the profit.

EDIT 2: Given all that, I wouldn't recommend Meridian right now. I just tried to place a quick live bet for a few bucks—a genuinely tiny amount—and they rejected my 1.65 odds bet, offering me 1.48 instead. Just enough to ensure it doesn't count toward the bonus requirements. Real shady business. 😁

It makes me wonder what kind of headache I'll deal with when I try to play something more substantial...

Well, you could probably bypass that if you upgrade to a Goldman Sachs account, which I assume comes with a hefty price tag...

I'm fairly certain I haven't even made a single move over there yet, but the system insists I have and won't budge an inch on changing my details...

Bryan Adams6 said:I mean, why on earth would you open a DraftKings account in dollars? 😕

Honestly, I haven't the slightest clue. Yesterday, when I went to set up my account with Neteller, I realized the damn thing was already active—and set to USD... 🙂

So, here’s the plan. I'm heading down to Chase tomorrow morning at 8:00 AM to beg them to freeze the transaction and move the funds over to my foreign currency account. Then I'll just fund the sportsbook directly from there. It feels like a headache waiting to happen, and honestly, they could still find a way to screw me over during the withdrawal phase, but I don't really have any other choice...

Honestly, it feels ten times harder to actually get my money into a sportsbook than it does to pull a win out of one...

My stomach's been in knots for the last two hours. I feel like I’m sitting there watching some guy blow a 2-0 lead while he's staring down a fifteen-thousand-dollar loss...

🙂🙂🙂

Dammit, Moneybookers won't let me change my currency settings. My account is stuck in some ancient currency from God knows when—I can't even remember when I opened this thing, let alone why...🙂

I already pushed the transaction through at my bank, but since it was in dollars, once that money hits the account, it's going to get converted back into this useless old currency. Then, when I try to withdraw it, I'll just end up losing another ten percent to exchange rates, fees, and all that other bullshit.

I’m practically praying for a revolution where they finally crack down on these banks and bankers. Maybe then they'll figure out how to deal with these online degenerates...

🙂

Bryan Adams6 said:Yeah, you just need to hit that $400 deposit threshold first, and then you're cleared to withdraw the bonus... along with whatever else you managed to stack up (a few thousand bucks 😉).

Thanks 👍

But honestly, what I’m trying to figure out is if I’ve actually checked all their boxes. If I go ahead and deposit $50 eight different times, making sure each bet hits at least 1.5 odds, am I cleared to withdraw my cash?

So, here’s the math...

It’s $50 at 1.5 odds, which leaves me with $75. I’ll just set that extra $25 aside, untouched, and then drop another $50. If I repeat that cycle eight times, does that satisfy the requirements so I can finally pull my money out?

I’ll shoot them an email about this whole second part later this week, and once they get back to me, I'll let you guys know what the word is...

From what I've gathered, DraftKings offers something pretty similar to those local street hustlers we have here (which makes sense, I guess), but they don't have live betting. 😁

Anyway, I just signed up over there. We'll see how the deposit process goes in the next few days...

I still have a few lingering questions...

What happens to my initial $50 deposit? Not talking about bonus money, just actual cash. I assume I can't just pull it out immediately—not that I plan to, but I'm curious if there are any restrictions on that.

And if I'm reading the fine print correctly regarding the bonus: say I wager $50 eight times. On the first go, I get $75. Does $25 just vanish into thin air while the $50 stays in my balance, or am I forced to wager the entire winnings every single time? Because if it's the latter, 😬 that sounds absolutely exhausting.

I'm using specific numbers here just to illustrate the point, not necessarily reflecting my own bankroll. I hope you don't mind the hypothetical approach. 😁

Also, do you happen to know how those PayPal vouchers work? Are they available in $50 increments, or does the system handle the conversion if I try to use a different amount?

Edit: Honestly, I struggle with discipline when the money is digital. It all starts feeling like Monopoly money. I find myself wasting entire mornings betting on ITF live tournaments just because I'm bored and have nothing else to do. That's why I'm being cautious. 😁

Thanks to both of you for the heads-up...

It feels a bit sketchy trying to churn that bonus, honestly. But then again, I might just give it a shot over at DraftKings. At the end of the day, I’ve been placing my bets there or with the usual local guys anyway...

Bryan Adams6 said:Tipico offers a 100% match up to $100, though I haven't dug into the fine print yet... I think I'll hold off on that one for now.

DraftKings is doing a 100% match up to $50, which is my top priority right now... just gotta hit an 8x rollover at 1.50 odds before I can touch the cash.

Eight times feels like a lot... or maybe it's just me.

So how does the math actually work? Am I supposed to hit a cumulative 1.50 odds eight times using that $50 stake, or what? For instance, if I put $50 down on a 1.60 line and walk away with $73, is that extra $23 mine to pocket immediately, or am I stuck rolling that over too? Same question for a smaller play—say I bet $2 to try and chase that $100 bonus. Is the profit technically mine once the bet hits, or is the whole thing locked behind the initial bonus requirement?

Just a quick question for the group—if anyone happens to know off the top of their head, please speak up. Otherwise, I’ll spend some time digging around and circle back in a few days or so...

So, which sportsbook is currently offering the best bonus with the least amount of headache when it comes to clearing the wagering requirements?

velveteagle10 said:Does anyone have any actual, sane advice on how to deal with the hacks over at Bwin?
Here’s the breakdown—I deposited 35 bucks via PayPal specifically to trigger a 100% match bonus. It never showed up. I sent them emails asking where my bonus was, but... crickets. Total silence. Fine, whatever, I decided to just pull my money back out to my PayPal account. And what happens? After waiting two days, they basically refuse to release the funds and dump the balance right back into my Bwin account!
Then, I try requesting the withdrawal again, and once that 48-hour processing window closes, I get hit with this: "Sorry, your account has been blocked and you will not be able to log in."

What is a person supposed to do with people like this? It’s not enough for them to profit off gambling addicts; now they actually want to snatch a measly 35 bucks right out from under you.
Any ideas? 🙂🙂🤷

Just keep spamming them with emails until someone finally bites. Lay out the whole story—explain that you were promised a bonus, it didn't materialize, and that's exactly why you tried to withdraw your cash immediately.
