Since I know this site and MonitorTech are linked, I figured this is the only place worth asking...

So, I’ve had this tech site set as my homepage since basically 1999, and I’m too superstitious to change it now. But for the past week, every single time I open my browser, I get stuck on some ancient headline about "7 Wonders of Modern Architecture" that’s clearly outdated. I’ve tried refreshing, re-typing the URL (I use Chrome), and everything else I can think of, but it’s always the same thing. 😠
A few times this week, the latest news actually showed up briefly, only for me to hit refresh and be sent right back to that old article from last week. Now I'm trying again and getting nowhere. 🙂

It’s honestly getting depressing. What is going on with my favorite site? 🕺

Just wanted to chime in on the thread... I’ve seen enough before-and-after shots from Ostojic's rhinoplasty cases to know they all end up looking way too upturned.

A year ago, I had my nose done by Dr. Munitić at Mercury in Chicago, and honestly, I'm pretty happy with it.

The only thing bugging me is that the bridge tilts slightly to one side. It's subtle—you wouldn't notice it at first glance—but I'd love to get it straightened out. Has anyone here gone in for a revision? How did it turn out?

briskorca6, from what I know, you usually have to be at least 16 for nose surgery. Unless it’s actually messing with your breathing or something serious, you probably shouldn't go earlier. Correct me if I'm wrong 🙂
But honestly? You should probably wait. In my experience, guys don't get scrutinized nearly as much as girls for having a bigger nose or prominent ears. Most guys have coarser features anyway—not everyone, obviously, but I actually find a bump on a guy's nose or a more "masculine" profile pretty attractive. It really just comes down to confidence and how you carry yourself. I know plenty of guys with all sorts of "imperfections" who are still total heartthrobs that every girl wants to date.
I doubt I'll talk you out of it, but I'm speaking from experience here. I had my nose done thinking it would change everything—that people would like me more or that I'd be more attractive. Turns out, nothing changed. Hardly anyone even noticed the difference. You have to prove yourself through your own personality. And stop trying to hide it; that just draws attention to the very thing you're worried about.
To be blunt, you might regret it later. Unless, of course, you're gay or bi, in which case, whatever, that's fine too. 🙂

I can't remember if I posted this here or on the beauty forum, but just wanted to let you guys know that two weeks ago (successfully 😁), I had my nose job done by Dr. Miller at Mercury. Honestly? I'm thrilled with how everything turned out. The pain was minimal—just a sharp spike right when I woke up from anesthesia, probably because they didn't give me anything for the pain immediately. It hurt like hell for a second, but the nurses jumped in with an injection and it was gone instantly. Having the packing in for five days was hands down the worst part; breathing through your mouth all night is a nightmare. My throat was killing me for the first few days, I couldn't eat properly, and I was waking up every hour just to drink water because my throat was so parched. I was counting down the minutes until they took those things out. People say removing the packing is agonizing, but for me, it was just a weird, brief discomfort. Removing the cast, however, actually hurt—the plaster stuck to my nose so badly they practically had to force it off. I thought all my misery was gone 🤣, but the moment I saw myself in the mirror, the pain just vanished 😁. I used to have this huge bump, and my nose was too big and crooked. Now? It’s perfectly straight, small, and cute—exactly what my face needed. Big thanks to Nelson for recommending doctor 😉. I couldn't be happier. Oh, and one more thing... almost zero bruising. A tiny yellow spot under my left eye cleared up in five days, and there's barely any swelling. It’s been 20 days now and it looks totally natural. The stitches are starting to fall out on their own. Now I just have to be careful not to bump it or catch it on a shirt while getting dressed. Anyway... hopefully this helps someone, because all your posts were what gave me the courage to go through with the surgery

I’m planning on getting a rhinoplasty this winter because I have a bump and it's a bit too large 🙄. My mind is made up, but after reading through everyone's experiences, I’m torn between Dr. Ostojić and Dr. Munitić over at KB Merkur. Any recommendations on which one to go with? Price isn't an issue for me—I just want the job done right. Also, does anyone know if they stay open during the Christmas holidays? I'm hoping to recover enough before school starts, so I was thinking about scheduling it right before Christmas.
