Dealing with hemorrhoids – any advice?

I dealt with hemorrhoids once, and they were absolutely brutal... I have no idea what triggered it in the middle of everything... maybe spicy food, too much sitting, or something else entirely, who knows... I've never had issues before or since... I always wash up after every bowel movement, so it was probably a combination of sitting too much and hard stools paired with spicy food...
But since I did a deep dive into the subject back then, I know quite a bit about hemorrhoids...
In any case, you SHOULD rinse off after every single bathroom trip... use very little soap and use COOL water, NOT warm water... warm water causes blood vessels to dilate, which essentially "feeds" and enlarges the hemorrhoids...
The cream I recommend is Tylenol... you can pick it up over the counter at any pharmacy... my doctor suggested it to me after nothing else actually worked...
I was doubled over in pain for about three weeks... I couldn't lie down, sit, or even walk... I felt like a total invalid... I had massive inflammation and about 6 to 8 large, swollen hemorrhoids right at the opening...
Once I started using Tylenol, the hemorrhoids actually started to burst... I was bleeding like someone had stabbed me in the gut... the largest, most inflamed ones ruptured, while the smaller ones calmed down and shrank, and the inflammation subsided... basically, everything cleared up within 4 or 5 days...
Since then, if I feel any stinging or itching after washing, I just apply a little Tylenol and that’s it... I haven't had any more pain or bleeding since...
If the hemorrhoids are already in an advanced stage, you should buy a cleanser called ANSOO... if you use it in combination with Tylenol, it really helps fast...
So, here are a few guidelines:
- Clean the area after every bowel movement with cool water and very little soap (preferably using Ansoo)
- At the first sign of trouble (stinging, itching, swelling), apply a little Tylenol
- Cut out heavy spicy, salty, and sugary foods... nothing excessive is good for you
- Cut out TOMATOES (whether fresh or sauce) at least until the hemorrhoids clear up
- Cut out wine, hard liquor, and Coca-Cola
- Move more and sit less... if you have to sit (due to your job), try to stand up and walk around the office at least every half hour...
It is vital to stick to these rules because if you catch them in the early stages, you can prevent them from escalating... once you suffer a major flare-up, there's a high chance it will plague you for the rest of your life...
A friend of mine has massive problems with hemorrhoids... he's even had cauterization and tried every remedy under the sun, but nothing works... whenever they flare up, he's basically bedridden for two weeks...
Hope this helps...
When did your bleeding stop? I noticed a bump a few days ago, and the bleeding started yesterday and continues today—I don't know how long it'll last—but nothing hurts at all... absolutely nothing, it just keeps bleeding...🙂
