Dealing with hemorrhoids – any advice?

hey ladies
been dealing with hemorrhoids for at least 10 years now... even after surgery they came right back. currently bleeding a lot and dealing with inflammation. i have a great proctologist... had the stapler procedure done which is totally painless... my issue is i just can't stop working. ironing, mowing the lawn, lifting heavy stuff—it's basically death for hemorrhoids... just constant physical labor. it's driving me crazy because i know everything about this but i can't seem to manage myself. my doctor suggests Detralex, warm chamomile baths, ointments, and suppositories... i do all that when things get bad, but when i feel okay, i'm right back to work. i've fixed my diet as much as possible... basically, hemorrhoids require constant care, you just have to learn to live with them... therapy helps some people, but others struggle for years like i do. honestly, i'm freaking out a bit right now... but for the beginners out there... stick to pharmacy ointments and suppositories, wash with lukewarm water, take chamomile baths... AND DON'T SIT ON THE TOILET FOR TOO LONG...
also, did anyone catch that Dr. Oz segment on hemorrhoids? apparently he recommends sitting on a tennis ball???? i missed it so if someone could explain
