From what I’ve read here, it seems like everyone ends up right back where they started with their hemorrhoids after surgery. Is there actually anyone out there who didn't deal with a relapse?

Has anyone dealt with major issues after surgery, like losing bowel control and having to wear diapers and stuff?

My doctor never actually suggested medication—I usually go to the public hospital, and he’s always just like, "It's nothing serious," while I'm sitting there dying from the pain. I guess things are slightly better now that I've changed my lifestyle, though.
If I hadn't been hit with this miserable illness, I probably would've just kicked the bucket from drinking too much, so I quit entirely because of this.

GUYS, YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS, it really helped me out; some lady at a local herbal shop recommended it.

In the morning—eat 2 sage leaves.
In the evening—grate one small beet, eat it, and then follow it up with a glass of warm water mixed with a spoonful of honey.

Do this for 28 days.
The toilet might turn red from the beet, just a heads-up.

And obviously, keep up a healthy lifestyle and diet—mostly cooked food, fruit, veggies...

I think I’m at stage three, or something. My doctor told me I have to peel all my fruits and veggies because apparently, I can't eat the skins. He also suggested massaging my veins by applying some cream and just rubbing my finger in circles.

I was honestly dying from the pain. After every bathroom trip, I’d scrub down with soap, but then I just stopped using it altogether and things got way better. I felt like the soap was just drying everything out down there, so now I just stick to plain water and save the soap for maybe once a week. I use some kid's Johnson & Johnson soap right now, so I'm wondering what you guys use? Is there a best soap for that area, or maybe some special soaps specifically made for people dealing with hemorrhoids? If they exist, what are they called and where can I grab them?

Obviously, my whole life changed..........

Man, this illness is a real piece of work. But I’ll beat it eventually, even if I have to live on nothing but fruit, veggies, steamed food, and water for the rest of my life...

And hey, if it turns out I need surgery, I guess I'll just go through with that too.

Anyone else here gone through surgery for this? Like THD or the DG HAL RAR stuff... I'm wondering if you actually got rid of those damn hemorrhoids for good. Also, let me know where you went for the procedure,
and if anyone has experience with that clinic in Belgrade, maybe drop a comment.

I had surgery at the Leptir Clinic back in December 2012. Before that, I was dealing with stage 3 external issues and bleeding for years. Things got a lot better afterward. Can someone share their actual experience with the THD method, ligation, or any of those other procedures they mention? Did it actually work, and did it finally get rid of those awful hemorrhoids for good? I've been reading all over the internet that a lot of people say the surgery didn't help at all, and some even claim things got worse—like they just threw money down the drain. So, seriously, did this operation actually work for anyone, and are you finally done with them? Also, if you could, let me know which doctor or clinic you went to.
