I’m just going to head over there because as soon as they see you're young, they automatically dismiss everything. At least that's how it works in public hospitals; I haven't tried a private clinic yet.
Obviously, you have to be bleeding out and dying in agony before anyone actually does anything about it. God forbid it ever gets to that point.
I’ve got a follow-up scheduled in ten days, so we'll see what they make of this.
I'm not in pain or bleeding or anything, but I am worried since this whole thing has been dragging on for months now.
A little bit of it feels normal—like having hard stools a few times a month—but then the hemorrhoids flare up, settle down, and then my digestion goes completely off the rails again.
It's enough to drive you crazy...
I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs. I even changed my diet to include more juice and fruit, but nothing has changed. It's still the same mess.

The narrow stool is back... two days of nothing happening and here we go again!
I’m honestly losing my mind reading all these forums where everyone starts jumping straight to tumors whenever this happens!
Even though doctors claim hemorrhoids can cause narrow stools, and the external one I had before has mostly healed, now I'm stuck with this weird shape!
Is there any chance my muscles are just clenched tight because I've been so incredibly stressed out over all this? That would explain the consistency!
It's driving me crazy—these doctors just tell you to eat more fruit and veggies and get moving, which is stuff I already knew without paying for an appointment!😢
And they didn't even suggest any actual follow-up tests or anything useful!

It’s all a bit much, isn't it? The only thing I can't wrap my head around is why, ever since this started, I’ve been dealing with constipation regardless of what I eat.
I mean, I used to have stretches where things just wouldn't move for a couple of days, but back then I couldn't blame anyone else since my diet was basically nothing but processed junk.
Clearly, my digestion has gone completely sideways.😢

I had this massive, painful external hemorrhoid, but it’s finally receding. You can still see this little blue vein sticking out though, especially if I put on a few extra pounds.
My proctologist told me straight up that if I actually stick to a better lifestyle, it should clear up in maybe two or three months. But honestly? It takes almost nothing to trigger it all over again. It still itches from time to time—he even mentioned that certain fats can cause irritation if you're dealing with long-term issues.
I'm trying my best to eat healthy, balancing out the burgers and grilled meats with plenty of salads, but I also hit the gym hard every day. It's impossible to escape the grind of daily responsibilities. At least I've got fruit on the menu every single day.

Look, man, I'm not much older than you, but honestly, these computers are going to be the death of us—not to mention the hour or two I spend hunched over an engine every single day!
I used to spend all my time on a bike once upon a time.
You just have to find some balance. Don't sit around too much, but don't go overboard with heavy lifting either if you're prone to hemorrhoids (even hitting the gym isn't great for that), and stay away from greasy pizza and fast food. Also, stop drinking—luckily, I quit eight years ago, so I don't even miss it.
Besides, you can't live life under a microscope; eventually, you're going to eat something that makes things worse. The worst part for me is going out drinking with the guys and having to pass on the sparkling water.
But we don't have much choice; we have to change our habits before this stuff really starts to wreck us. I guess until you're actually bleeding, it isn't that bad!
Dammit, I guess we're just destined to suffer for the rest of our lives.

Went to see the specialist at the Mayo Clinic yesterday.
I explained my situation, and I have to admit, they were perfectly polite right up until the moment you realize you have to get all puffed up and strip down—the exam was pretty painful, even for someone with my high pain tolerance!
He noted a 0.5cm nodule at the 5 o'clock position; no special treatments required, just eat more fruit and veggies, take some magnesium, and maybe Sensio—basically, cut back on the dry food so things stay soft!
On top of that, my engine has basically handed itself over to my biggest enemy: hemorrhoids. I need to scale back there too.
Cycling is out of the question, but I definitely need to make running or swimming a mandatory part of my daily routine!

It’s not like I’m living under a glass dome or anything, but following those guidelines is probably a good idea.
The doctor didn't recommend any creams because he said they’ll just trigger intense itching after a while; instead, he suggested chamomile baths and a follow-up in a month.

*He also mentioned not expecting this to vanish in a week or two—it’ll likely take a month or two, maybe three, before it clears up.
I really hope so; I'm way too young to be dealing with this crap for the rest of my life.

Give Fact a shot, though it hasn’t done a thing for my skin irritation. I've been slathering it on for three or four days now and still haven't seen any progress!

After dealing with digestive issues for about three or four months now, I’ve noticed a little lump (about 5-10mm) on the outside of my anus.😢
I'm guessing it's a hemorrhoid... just to give some context, I'm 24 and a full-time student, so you can probably guess how much sitting and studying I do.
On top of that, I spend way too much time glued to my computer; I'm not exactly hitting the gym. My only real movement is the commute from my house to the garage to hop in my car or onto my motorcycle, which I ride quite a bit during the year.
When I am working, I've been doing heavy manual labor for the last few months. My diet is decent—plenty of fruit and I drink about 2L of water a day—but clearly, years of being a couch potato have caught up with me.
I picked up some Fact ointment and have been using it for two days, but nothing's happening.😢I tried cold compresses too, but honestly, it feels like they might be making things worse.
I already requested a referral for a specialist, and I'm waiting until next week to schedule an appointment.
I really hope I can get rid of this growth, though from what I've gathered, once you deal with these things, they just keep coming back in even worse forms.
I have no idea how I'm going to give up burgers, pizza, or the occasional beer, even though I know it's terrible for me.
But the worst part is that I can't even ride my bike right now, and there is absolutely nothing I love more than riding. At the moment, the pain is just too intense to sit on the seat.
