Dealing with hemorrhoids – any advice?

Greetings everyone,
So, I’m checking in today with a bit of a question on my mind.
Basically—about four years ago now—I noticed some blood in my stool. Sometimes it was just a tiny amount, other times it felt like quite a lot, which honestly gave me a bit of a scare! So, naturally, I went ahead and scheduled a sigmoidoscopy.
During the exam, everything looked perfectly fine—nothing unusual at all—and the issue completely vanished after that. But now, here we are... it’s started happening again. What could be going on here? What might be causing this, and more importantly, how can I stop it from coming back?
