I was wondering if anyone could offer some insight here. My 22-month-old just had a bronchoscopy, and the aspirate results came back showing *Streptococcus pneumoniae* at 10^2 and *E. coli* at 10^2. Apparently, according to the doctor, those levels are within the normal range, so they didn't prescribe any medication. But then I stumbled upon some information online about these specific bacteria, and now I’m starting to feel a bit anxious.

I honestly don't even know anymore. I had my consultation with the anesthesiologist last week and everything seemed perfectly fine. Plus, I already went through my initial examination.
What am I supposed to do at this point? Someone mentioned earlier that there weren't any rib surgeries scheduled for the 9th month, but I'm heading there regardless—I've already been there and everything is set.

Hey everyone!
So, I thought I’d share what’s been going on with me lately.
About nine months ago, I had nose surgery—fixing a deviated septum and a broken bone that was leaning too far to the left. Everything seemed to go perfectly at first, but then, about a month later, I noticed this tiny bump right in the middle of my nose, and then another one on the left side. I completely lost it, obviously. I went back to the doctor, and he told me the cartilage hadn't settled properly and that the bump on the left was just how the bone had healed.
And get this: I’m scheduled to go back under the knife this Monday to fix it. He acted like it was no big deal, just a quick correction.
But then, I went to the hospital this Friday to check in, and they finally handed me the paperwork from my last procedure.
As I’m reading through it, I see it there in bright red letters: "difficult intubation." Of course, I immediately spiraled into a total panic.
So, I’m waiting for the doctor to clear me for the upcoming surgery, and I make sure to bring up that difficult intubation. He just brushed it off, saying it wasn't anything to worry about, but noted that he'd pass the info along to the team.
The thing is, I am terrified now. I’m scared to go under general anesthesia—even though the doctor mentioned I might be able to do local anesthesia instead. I honestly don't know what to do. My surgery is Monday morning, and I can't even get a hold of the doctor right now!

Has anyone here actually gone through with nose surgery under Dr. Klapan Ivica at Mayo Clinic? I was thinking about doing it at Salat before, but is he actually any good?
