A new guy, probably a local, stands at the bus stop, and I see Dr. Frank, that cardiologist... he tells me, "You know, I'm on call today, and my nurse is doing a stellar job. Let's grab a roasted sea bass and head straight to the ICU"—he says... So, Frank grabs the sea bass that actually needs emergency surgery at Mercy Hospital, otherwise, it’s toast... "And hey, I'll see you in a couple of weeks," he adds... And so, I just kept waiting for the bus, thinking about how beautiful life is here in America, where everything somehow comes together—though, I suppose, it isn't quite worth sixteen thousand dollars on Wall Street. ☕
