Login issues

How does a machine remain logged into a website automatically?
To put it in layman's terms:
- when you select "remember me" on a login page, the browser creates a small script tied specifically to that site's URL.
When you return to that page later, the browser pulls the stored credentials from that script and logs you in automatically.
The fact that you can't log in by manually typing your details suggests the browser is losing the session data during the redirect process; however, the fact that clicking a Skype link logs you in immediately implies the script exists, but the browser is failing to locate it properly.
Running CCleaner and performing a clean reinstall of your browser should resolve this, provided you instruct CCleaner to clear all "saved form data."
What truly concerns me is the possibility of malware interfering with these functions; there are certain viruses designed specifically to hijack these scripts to steal Facebook passwords or credit card numbers.
Ultimately, this is a client-side issue—it lies within your local hardware and software, not with the forum servers.
🙂
I find myself unable to agree with that assessment for one singular reason: the sheer number of members reporting this exact same glitch... I have personally attempted to log in using my own password from various different computers, and the issue remains constant. If one machine is malfunctioning, it is statistically impossible for every other device to be broken in the same way.🙄
To bi riješio CCleaner i reinstalacija browsera.
I have already tried that approach, and it yielded zero results. The only certainty I possess is that I am completely in the dark regarding the root cause and how to fix it.
