And look, not everyone jumps straight to expensive surgeries; most people have decent health insurance, so getting fixed up at a local hospital is actually pretty doable. Plus, any decent doctor is going to try and figure out what’s actually causing the Hemorrhoid in the first place.
It sounds like diet was the culprit for you, and it's awesome that you got it sorted, but not everyone gets that lucky.
I've always eaten clean and stayed active, yet they just showed up "out of nowhere" a few years back. The cause? Genetics. So many people in my family deal with this...
In my case, changing my diet wouldn't have done a thing.
The smartest advice I ever got on this forum was simply to go see a professional. I recommend that to everyone if dietary tweaks aren't cutting it. 🙂
Personally, the idea of being cut open or having surgery is my absolute last resort because it only treats the symptom. There’s always an underlying reason for something, including this.
New research shows that genes aren't some locked-in destiny; they're heavily influenced by your environment. So, if it runs in the family, it might just be a result of similar lifestyle patterns within that environment.
If I were to add anything to all this, I'd say: if healthy eating doesn't work,
-try using a yoga ball instead of a toilet seat, and if that fails,
-pick up a sport, and if that doesn't help either,
-change up your surroundings or handle those stress triggers, and if even that doesn't work,
-go see Zdenko Domančić or someone who uses his method (it's usually free).
Surgery is truly the very last thing I'd ever opt for.
Stay happy and healthy!
