Dealing with hemorrhoids – any advice?

I've had them for years. Ignored them because they didn't really hurt, just bled a couple of times. Tried a whole course of Paxil, total waste of money. No difference at all.
Last week they flared up. My eyes were practically popping out from the pain. Now I’m taking Daflon and rubbing on some Hemex essential oils for a few days. Feeling better and they've shrunk down. I'd recommend the Hemex—plus, the whole apartment smells great. :-)
