Honestly, what can you even say? Who should they be asking for advice? It’s a tragedy when someone tries to manage their health entirely through the internet. This guy (Michael Diaz4) is making a perfectly valid point: everything seems fine here, but go see a real doctor for an actual diagnosis. People come here looking for "miracle cures" that don't exist.

I had surgery about 8 months ago, much like Michael Diaz4 did. I stumbled back onto this forum by accident, which really just proves I've completely forgotten the issues that used to plague me. It’s as if it never even happened.

Some of these forum users are really getting on my nerves (I don't know where you get the energy to keep explaining things, Michael Diaz4) with the constant "I don't know much" or "can someone explain this to me" nonsense. This thread is 113 pages long—for heaven's sake, just read from the beginning so there are fewer mindless questions.

Bottom line: see a doctor for a diagnosis, and use this place to figure out which specialist charges what.

It’s been seven days since my surgery—I am still very much alive. Recovery is moving along, albeit slowly.

For anyone out there struggling with similar issues, my advice? Get checked out. Seriously. I walked into this thinking my situation wasn't even that bad—only to find out it was stage 4, thrombosed, and had a fissure. Thank God that's finally behind me now.

It was likely based on the photos and his own experience that he provided a preliminary diagnosis—and wouldn't it be lovely if he were wrong and it was a milder case? Regardless, I've committed to this and have no intention of backing down.
Of course, I didn't just skim a few pages; I read the entire history along with other sources. My wife is quite knowledgeable about nutrition and herbal supplements, so I don't anticipate issues there—the only real obstacle is my own discomfort, which I just can't seem to shake.

He insisted it's stage four and needs intervention. The actual physical exam will happen right before the procedure while I'm under anesthesia. What really trips me up is that I have zero symptoms, and the lumps slide back inside within minutes of using the bathroom. I'm at a loss. Based on your experience, how much can I realistically expect the recovery to be shorter or less painful?

I live just twenty minutes outside of downtown Boston, yet somehow I was completely unaware of the clinic > keeps recommending. I really owe him a thanks—for once, there’s actually some hope that I might return to my old lifestyle. My surgery is officially on the calendar for three days from now.

That whole "cleansing" process before the procedure has me a bit uneasy. Is it... well, disgusting?
