The procedure was a total failure. Nothing has improved; in fact, everything feels even worse than before. I essentially threw away two months of my salary for this. If you aren't looking to just throw money down the drain, I definitely wouldn't recommend private clinics.

I've been there. I wouldn't recommend it. Go somewhere else.
I wouldn't recommend the HAL method. It didn't help me at all; I just ended up suffering through a rough recovery, and even three weeks later, nothing had changed. To make matters worse, my doctor tries to convince me the hemorrhoids are gone, so now I'm left wondering why I bothered seeking a second opinion if this guy's method didn't actually fix anything. That’s just my experience, not to mention the fact that I paid a fortune for it.
Carl Phillips2 said:That is a valid question. Your only option is to follow up with the doctor. Tell me more about how the surgery went while it's still fresh in your mind, and let me know which facility you used.
I have a follow-up appointment in about two weeks, so I will see then. As for the procedure itself, you won't even realize it happening because they put you under anesthesia; you just wake up when it's over. It hurts for about a week, but it isn't a big deal. I was operated on at the butterfly ??? clinic.
Does anyone know how long it takes for hemorrhoids to actually subside after a DG-HAL procedure? It’s been nearly a month since my surgery and nothing feels different than before. Either the procedure wasn't done right, or I'm part of that 5% failure rate.
cosmicmoose2 said:I also underwent the DG HAL procedure at stage two. In my experience, it hurts for the first two or three days, but it isn't unbearable. You can always take painkillers. For those first three days, I took 600mg Ibuprofen granules three times a day. Combined with rest, I barely felt anything.
After about a week, you'll feel like you never even had the procedure. Your first bowel movement will be a bit painful, so I recommend sticking to soft foods like oatmeal, mashed potatoes, or grits. Drink plenty of fluids. If you want, you can drink about 8 ounces of warm Donat mg roughly 30 minutes before that first trip to the bathroom to help soften things up.
Regardless, these aren't pains that should worry you.
So, is everything fine now? Did they subside like they were never there?
Just checking in here. I went to a private clinic for an exam and was diagnosed with stage two internal issues. The doctor recommended the HAL method. He claims it’s painless—you just sleep through it, go home the next day, and take a few days off work. Sounds good on paper. If anyone has been through something similar, please share your experience. I’ve been reading some older posts and it seems like it might not be as painless as he says.
Greetings. Does anyone have experience with the DG HAL method? I’m looking for clinic recommendations in Chicago. I've finally decided to deal with this nuisance, but I haven't picked a location yet. My diagnosis is second-degree internal hemorrhoids, and I've heard the DG HAL method is quite effective for this.
Thanks for the replies, but honestly, nobody seems to know what to do. I was at the hospital, and they just stick to the standard approach. When you ask how to actually fix this, all they say is "try a better diet," which doesn't help if you're looking at surgery. There are so many different methods out there that it’s impossible to decide what’s actually best. I’m asking again: if you've been through this, please share your experience. Right now, I'm looking into the DG HAL or PPH methods. Any useful info would be appreciated.
Hi everyone. I'm new here and wanted to ask about anyone's experience with the DG HAL method. I've been dealing with second-degree internal hemorrhoids for four years now.
