I’ve been dealing with hemorrhoids for quite some time, and by around July, I had already made up my mind to undergo DG HAL RAR surgery. My situation was significant enough that bleeding was a frequent occurrence—not uncommon. The hemorrhoids would occasionally prolapse, though they did eventually retreat on their own. The pain wasn't constant, just periodic bouts of discomfort. All this suggests I likely have Stage III hemorrhoids. Since then, I’ve completely overhauled my diet and bathroom habits. I experimented with various creams and herbal teas, but nothing really stabilized things until I fixed my digestion. Now, every single morning immediately after waking up, I prepare a large bowl of muesli mixed with water. I pop it in the microwave for a bit, let it cool, and allow the grains to swell and soften up properly. I add a little more water afterward, and yes, I eat this every single day. I have to admit, it has worked—my condition has improved significantly. The hemorrhoids haven't vanished—that's simply not an option—but they no longer prolapse, bleed, or cause me any pain. I'm not claiming that diet alone is a cure-all, but with this specific regimen, my bowel movements are perfectly regular, occurring every evening before bed. The consistency is exactly what it should be—neither too soft nor too hard. I’ve also refined my technique in the restroom; I ensure everything happens smoothly without even the slightest straining. I make it a point never to sit on the toilet for more than 30 to 60 seconds. That’s essentially the gist of it. It might help someone out, though I’d say this is more suited for milder cases or general prevention. If I were to revert to my old lifestyle—skipping breakfast and neglecting fiber—everything would slide right back to square one. This watery muesli isn't exactly a culinary delight, but it’s edible. One should be cautious if they have a sensitive stomach. For me, combining this with plenty of vegetables has stabilized my digestion (daily and ideal consistency), and so far, there are no issues.
I should also add that you absolutely have to stay hydrated; consuming too much fiber without enough liquid can lead to total constipation. I drink plenty of tea—usually a blend of mint, lemon balm, and valerian. And in the mornings, I opt for oatmeal with a banana, because milk absolutely wreaks havoc on my system...🙂
