Dealing with hemorrhoids – any advice?

I’m starting to feel that familiar wave of panic setting in, too. I’ve got these three external hemorrhoids that flare up from time to time—they get inflamed and occasionally start bleeding. Based on how they feel, I’d say they’re stage 4, pretty large and protruding, maybe an inch or so. Honestly, I’ve been putting off seeing a doctor forever because I keep telling myself it’ll just clear up on its own. I’m really curious about what kind of trouble I could actually get into if I leave them alone; I’ve been dealing with this ever since I had my first baby 21 years ago. Thanks for any insight.
