Hey everyone!
First off, huge thanks to Felix the Cat for cleaning up this post and merging everything... It’s a massive pain for me because I’m typing on my phone—everything is tiny and totally impractical—but my computer is busted, so I don't have much of a choice...🙂
My dad is doing okay🙂 for now! Let's just hope it stays that way.

About a month and a half ago, my dad started feeling pressure in his rectal area, followed by some stinging and then bleeding... his internal hemorrhoids flared up again🙂 (they had been totally fine for the last two years)!
I actually sat down and read all 113 pages🎉, and seriously, THANK YOU to all you hemorrhoid experts🙂your shared experiences are worth their weight in gold!
My old man went to see his doctor to get some advice, and they told him if things didn't improve, he should come back for a formal referral...
Along with sticking to a strict diet and hygiene routine, he took Pilex tablets, flaxseed oil, and magnesium salt, while using Preparation H suppositories and applying Hemopropin. The pressure and pain in the area cleared up in two weeks, and the bleeding stopped after about a month.
So, that’s what happened with my dad—maybe it helps someone else out there...🙂
Anyway, congrats to everyone who has successfully kicked these hemorrhoids and all the annoying side effects that come with them🙂bravo people! Even though I don't deal with this personally, watching my father🙂makes me feel for everyone here fighting through this. May God grant you the strength to push through and fix the problem!

Avoid heavy lifting, stop sitting for long stretches (he even bought one of those specialized hemorrhoid cushions), and watch the stress... so yeah, that's basically the summary of my dad's experience🙂
