Hello. I started this thread myself, so please feel free to move it if I’ve posted it in the wrong section. I am 21 years old, and about 20 days ago, I realized my appetite had simply vanished. On that first day, I didn't eat anything at all; by the evening, the only thing I could manage was some fruit, specifically an apple. When I woke up the next morning, I still wasn't hungry, though I did manage to eat a pastry. After that, nothing else for the rest of the day. Over these past 16 days, my weight has dropped from 125 pounds to 112 pounds, and I am 5'5" tall. While I have always been somewhat conscious of my appearance, this sudden change was completely unintentional. I find myself barely eating throughout the day, and frankly, I don't know how I'm even functioning. My blood pressure has been hovering around 80/50, which feels like a dangerous threshold. I kept attributing this loss of appetite to the summer heat, but today, for the first time in nearly three weeks, I tried to eat a substantial meal—some meat and bread—and I have felt nauseous all day long. Has anyone else gone through something similar?
