AC Milan Discussion Thread
in Feedback & Suggestions ·
I honestly think a handful of major European clubs deserve their own dedicated threads, mostly because the fanbases are just too massive to ignore.
Most sports forums in the States have these kinds of sub-sections, so I’m genuinely stumped as to why things keep getting deleted over here...
Right now, everything related to the Premier League is just shoved into one giant bucket. If someone actually wants to talk about, say, AC Milan, what are they supposed to do? They have to dig through endless pages of clutter just to find a specific discussion or a news update—which is basically what I try to do myself.
Deleting threads isn't the answer. Threads for the big teams with actual traction will stay alive on their own, and if someone tries to start a thread for some obscure, bottom-tier club, it’ll just die out naturally anyway.
The point is, the active topics are the ones that survive. It should be in the forum's best interest to encourage more posting and keep as many active discussions going as possible.
I’m convinced we’d see way more chatter about football in general—whether it's the Premier League, Spanish leagues, or English ones—if the heavy hitters had their own spaces while still keeping the main league thread intact.
But hey, whatever you guys want to do. At the end of the day, being able to change your mind is a strength, not a flaw.
Just look at how much engagement you get on sites like ESPN or Bleacher Report when they break things down by specific powerhouse teams.
p.s. responding to Eric Newman75: I'm talking about trophies that come with a major title. Like the Champions League—being the best in Europe—and the Club World Cup. That's my metric for the last 20-25 years.
Even if you count every single international trophy ever won, AC Milan still holds the record for the most in history.
Anyway, doesn't matter—I wasn't suggesting that AC Milan should be the *only* one with its own section.
Cheers.
