Hey everyone... So, I was doing some work around the house today and had to take apart this table. I was right in the middle of unscrewing one of the legs from the tabletop when—of course—the whole slab just dropped straight onto my finger. It got caught perfectly between that square metal base and the wood, right at the base of the nail, maybe a few millimeters above the cuticle. The base dug deep into the skin, and now my nail is completely bruised and turning black. I scrambled to the kitchen immediately—first tried dousing it in some bourbon, then basically shoved my head under the faucet and sat on the floor because I honestly thought I was going to pass out from the pain. Luckily, I didn't. Anyway, it’s been about two or three hours now and I’ve already taken two Zaldiar. I went looking for Grandpa Voltaren, but he didn't have any on hand; he just told me Zaldiar is what you take for pain, which is exactly what the little insert in the box says. So, does anyone here actually have experience using this stuff? Did it actually do anything for you? And what else should I be taking to deal with this throbbing? Thanks in advance!
